At the early age of seven, Dee Jones began shining God's Light through song. Her uncle's singing group, Cliff Mason and The Gospel Truths, recruited her as their youngest member. Traveling with a singing family, community choirs, singing competitions and appearances on the Christian Broadcasting Network, ABC-Family Network and local television has prepared Dee for her calling in music ministry.
Dee Jones is founder and president of Dee Jones Ministries, Inc. and Light 2 World, Inc. Her companies exist for the sole purpose drawing others to the living hope of salvation in Jesus Christ.
Dee Jones is writing books! Her latest endeavor is a book for children; her love for all children and experience from 14 years in early childhood development with the United States Army Child Development Centers makes her the best author for this new project. Dee has assisted parents through mentoring and academic programs. Her experience with troubled youth through the first in-school suspension program in Harford County, MD. Dee has also worked as a pediatric nurse at the prestigious Kennedy Krieger Institute and has volunteered in community programs for children of all ages.
Dee published her dissertation as she obtained a doctorate in Community Health Education and Advocacy. Dee conducted a 7-year study of fear and published her dissertation with ProQuest publishing. Dee self-published a journal of life-stories about her family and humorous adventures.
